Field Trip

Cale started his new preschool right after he turned 3. He had his first field trip to an Orchard here in town. I was lucky enough to go with him and we had a great time. The lady that owns the place sat all the kids down read them a story then talked to them about the different kinds of apples and what they are used for. Then we all took a short walk to the pumpkin patch where all the kids got to pick out their very own pumpkin as long as they could carry it all by themselves. It was great fun and I can't wait to go on another field trip with him!

Mi Hermana

I just uploaded some pictures from my camera onto my computer and found one from when my sister and her family came to visit this summer. She has more on her blog but this one was super cute!

We were watching the movie Rango. I never thought so many kids could fit onto one bed! We sure had fun while they were visiting. My sister and her oldest daughter even helped me kick start Cale's potty training! Thanks sis! I really wished they lived closer....
My sister really is an amazing person. First of all, she has 5 kids! They are some of the most well behaved kids you will ever meet! Anytime I am having a problem with Cale and I'm not sure how to handle it, my sister is the first person I go to. She also homeschools all her kids! And she doesn't shelter them either like alot of other homeschooled kids. They are all social. Cub Scouts, homeschool groups, church groups, it seems like they are always around other grown ups and kids. She raises her children with good morals and values. She is truly the best mother, sister, and aunt in the whole world!

Better Late then Never

Over the summer I took Cale to the amusement park here in town. We had a ton of fun! It was very hot that day, but it didn't stop us from having a blast! Here are some pictures...enjoy!

Whats in a name

Part of the "party package" at the bounce house for cales birthday, he received a stuffed animal of his choice. He picked a pretty cute and extremely soft Dalmatian puppy. They stuffed it for him like they do at build-a-bear. When I asked him that day what he wanted to name it, he was unresponsive so my boyfriend decided to name it Biscuit. I thought it was cute and cale seemed to not care at all. The next morning, cale climbed out of his bed and into mine toting biscuit with him. When I asked him who he was holding, he replied without hesitation, " Soupy Bread." I had him repeat it a few times to male sure I heard him right and sure enough, his new puppy is named soupy bread. What a creative little boy!

Cale's 3!!!

Cale turned 3 today! I had a party for him at an indoor bounce house. We had pizza and cake then played alot! I feel really bad because I didn't take any pictures. Hopefully someone else got some that they can share with me. After the party, I took him to his dad's house so he can celebrate with him. Cale got alot of cool gifts and I'm so glad the day went so great!

Drill team

At my work we get to dress in plain clothes sometimes and pose as actual passengers. We sometimes have prohibited items hidden on us or in our bag. Today is my day! And tomorrow! I love being able to go to work without an uncomfortable uniform on and I don't have to put my hair up in a tight bun.

So, there is this song that I absolutely love! I am always flipping through the radio stations hoping I hear it. Last night I struck gold! After a very long day at work, I got into my car and the song was just starting on the radio! I was so happy! I cranked the volume up big time! It's called "Someone like you" by Adele

Break time!

I took a couple days off from writing. It's a lot more stressful than I thought it would be. Plus, I spend a majority of my day either at work or in the car that its hard to find something that made me happy everyday. Don't get me wrong, something good happens everyday, but it's usually me being with Cale and I can only write about that so much. I did, however, receive a notice at work that was informing me that I got a day off that I requested! Yay! This means Mason and I will hopefully be attending a St. Louis Blues game in St. Louis!!! Of all sports, I actually enjoy watching hockey. Football is probably my least favorite...can you say BORING! Hockey is so fast paced and exciting! Plus, fights break out a lot and that is fun to watch too. I am also posting a link to an updated story on what happened at work on Sunday.

Rainbow

Well, today was a pretty rough day. I wont go into details but I am thankful for my friends and family and how supportive and caring they can be. On my way home however, there was a very beautiful rainbow, double rainbow actually, but I wasn't able to get a picture of both. It reminded me that no matter how bad things are, there is always something nice in the clouds. Its just hard to find sometimes.

Just a minute

I guess I get pretty busy sometimes and forget to post. I had the intention to post, I promise! Anyway, yesterday was great. The highlight of my day was definitely sleeping in( until 9) then sitting on my bed with cale( in his underwear), eating popcorn and watching Cars. We also went to babysit Scotty again which was a blast! Cale and Scotty get along so well together. I made a banana shake for us just the way my sister used to when I was a kid. It was awesome!!!

TGIF

Today is my Friday and the day went by pretty quickly. I did get a slip for mandatory overtime on Saturday, but luckily I found a sitter and that's one last thing I have to worry about. The less stress the better!

Osceola

A few weeks ago, cale and I took a trip to Branson with Masons family. On the way home we stopped at a place called Osceola Cheese. They sell cheese of course but other stuff too. I bought some pumpkin butter and cherry butter there and some blueberry yogurt covered pretzels. They were soooooo good! Anyway, its located about 2 hours or more from my house so its not like I can easily drive down and get more. I told a coworker about the pretzels last week and he said he was going that way for labor day and he'd pick some up for me! Well, he delivered today! Yum! I want a whole case!!! I will have to plan another trip down there!

Oops!

I thought i posted this yesterday but apparently i didnt. My bad!
Best morning ever!!! First, I woke up and found out mom made beef jerky, yum! Then after cale got up he went poo in the potty! Yay! I wish every morning could be this good!

Laboring

I'm here at work, laboring on labor day. Shouldn't this be against the law? Anyway, it was a pretty calm and quick day here at the ol airport. But, the best part of today you ask? Making almost $40 an hour! Yeah baby! Glad its over though. I'm very ready to pick up my little man and head home. Sorry, no pictures today.

Chipotle!!

Today was a bleh kinda day. I couldn't sleep well last night and I woke up really early so needless to say, I was very tired. Plus, my allergies are kicking my butt and making me feel awful. But, after a long day at work Mason had a chipotle burrito waiting for me. Its weird how one delightful thing can over power so many bad things. With this full belly of mine, I'd say its time to sleep!

Take a break

Today was a very relaxed day! My boyfriend Mason took me out for a delicious lunch today at BD's mongolian BBQ. Then we just laid around and watched movies. It was a much needed break from a pretty hectic schedule.

Scotty

I babysat my friends kid today, Scotty. We went swimming, had pizza, and played Xbox. It was great! He is a fun little guy and reminds me alot of cale.

Little Mio

It's only 1:27 and my day is already super fantastic! After taking a shower this morning, I went to the office to check my email and found Cale asleep on the floor! He must've woken up and came looking for me. It was so adorable. Then, we left early for the sitters house so we could have some quality coffee time. We used to have it alot but not so much now that I live about 50 min. away. It was nice to catch up and relax. Now, I'm on break with my crossword and some Mio water. My friend brought me some because she knew I wanted to try it. Its just a liquid sweetener that you put in plain water. Its delish! I'm so grateful for the few friends I have...they are so fantastic!

Goodnight

Its been a long day of ups and downs. Cale was being silly on the ride home from work tonight. Saying funny things like, "You are a bad word Mama!" He really likes to sing songs too. His favorite is wheels on the bus. But, I'll have to say, the best part of this day was reading cale a bedtime story (Llama Llama mad at Mama) and crawling into my very comfy looking bed. Goodnight :-)

Boxers or briefs?

For the last month cale has been potty training. He goes number 1 on the toilet regularly but hasn't quite gotten the number 2 concept. Anyway, I was doing laundry today and I just love cales little undies! Seeing them made me smile because for one, they are super small and cute, and two, it makes me so proud that he goes at all on the toilet!
By the way, I did make a post yesterday. I put multiple pictures on it and I think my phone is having a hard time processing it. I'm not sure if it will ever show up or not but I will try to get it up there.

Mobile blogging

I was thinking alot about my blog today and how I never post. I realized that maybe if there was a mobile app that I could use, I may blog alot more! I always have my phone on me and it would be alot more convenient . Well, sure enough there was an app!!! I can even post pictures! This has made me very happy and inspired me to change the direction of my blog to something a little more positive. I will attempt to blog every single day about only positive things that bring me joy. So, this is day one of my happiness journey:-)
