Cale had his last birthday celebration today at the park. This was his party for his friends. There were lots of snacks and Denver Bronco colored cupcakes. The blue frosting was a bit hit! It was the perfect day to spend time with friends at the park. He got a ton of books, a football and some board games! Everyone had a great time.
Cale turned 7 today! He brought pink frosted and sprinkled donuts to school, then later we went out to Red Robin for dinner. He got a sundae and they sang happy birthday to him. He also doesn't have a time limit on his electronics today so he played a lot of his new minecraft game and watched YouTube videos. I still can't believe he's 7!
Cale recently had a birthday party at his dad's house. We decided not to have a big joint party this year. They tend to be quite pricey and stressful. This party was mostly just for family and he'll have another party this weekend for his friends. It was a good time and Cale got a lot of clothes, minecraft toys, a watch, and $115 in cash and Target gift cards! He's such a lucky boy! One of his favorite gifts was a Payton Manning jersey. I included some pictures of Cale's sister violet because she's so darn cute!
I just witnessed a police officer gun down a raccoon in my front yard! He tried to kill it by hitting it with his baton first but he failed. I took a video, you can watch it on my YouTube account. www.YouTube.com/carson1985
Yesterday was Cales first hockey practice of the season. He'll have another couple practices then we should find out what team he is going to be on. We are hoping he goes up a level from last year. If he does, he should get his turn at being goalie! He's really excited!
