Dude where's my shorts?

So, two years ago Mason and I went to Dee and Gregs for the 4th of July. Mason had just bought a couple brand new pairs of gym shorts before our trip and packed them in his suitcase. Almost all our family was there and we had a great time. Upon returning home Mason noticed one of his pairs of shorts were gone. We figured he left them at Dee and Gregs. They looked around but couldn't find them. We called my brother Beau to see if he grabbed them by mistake because he had a similar pair but he couldn't find them either. We called them lost and moved on with our lives.  Fast forward to present day.
Mason, me and the kids were visiting my mom when my brother Buck came walking down the stairs. The gym shorts he was wearing looked very familiar. I asked where he got them and he said they just "appeared" one day a while back. We had a good laugh. Mason told Buck he could keep the shorts.

He's a grader now!

Cale has officially finished kindergarten! He calls himself a grader now. I'm so proud! He couldn't have done better! He made friends, got all good marks, ate a special breakfast with the principal (only a few kids get the honor), learned how to read, and gained self confidence just to name a few things. I hope 1st grade is just as great!

Allergies

For quite some time, Ollie was broken out in a rash. Usually on his face and head but sometimes on his chest and arms. At first I thought it was dry skin but lotion never helped it. It also kind of came and went whenever it pleased. I did some research and found that this rash could be a sign of a food allergy. Ollie has been only breastfed up to this point. I should also say that he spits up A LOT, is very cranky and cries all the time, and the combination of his rash and tummy problems spelled out allergy to me. So, I went on an elimination diet. For 2 weeks I could only eat 15 things, and only use salt and pepper. After that, I noticed great improvement in not only his skin, but his attitude as well. He started smiling more, and spit up less. I could then start adding foods back in my diet. One food every 4 days then you watch for a reaction. Skip 5 months and here we are! Ollie is like a whole new baby! He only cries when he needs to, he hardly spits up anymore, and his skin is super clear and soft. He was allergic to gluten and dairy so I was on a restricted diet for awhile, but now he seems to tolerate all foods just fine.
